LEGEND
Founder
Legend is an Afghan-American and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He deployed to Afghanistan serving under General Joseph L. Votel.
During Operation Enduring Freedom, Legend recruited, trained, and managed a local team collecting intelligence for U.S. and allied forces.
In August 2021, Legend returned to Afghanistan to personally help rescue American citizens, religious minorities, and at-risk individuals.
Legend frequently travels to Afghanistan to help with humanitarian efforts.
BEN OWEN
Advisor
Ben is an Army Infantry veteran, a father to eight children, graduate of the University of Alabama, and American Patriot. From Fortune 500s to startups, Ben has excelled in leadership, strategy, raising brand awareness and sales.
A lover of anything outdoors or firearms, when not working his day job at BlackRifle Co, Ben can most often be found (or not found) spending time in the North Georgia mountains with his kids.
Ben is an experienced subject matter expert on data intelligence and digital media and those SMEs have helped him greatly in his endeavors at Flanders.
SCOTT MANN
Senior Advisor
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Scott Mann is a former U.S. Army Green Beret with tours all over the world including Colombia, Iraq, and multiple tours in Afghanistan.
He is a warrior storyteller and the founder of Rooftop Leadership where he shares the rapport-building skills he learned in Special Forces to help today’s leaders make better human connections in high-stakes, low-trust engagements.
Following his military service, Scott has made it his mission to help organizations gain a better understanding of their internal culture while exposing the potential for conflict that exists when trust has deteriorated.
